Hey kids - want the coolest job ever?
From playgrounds to pastries to magical places, do you know all the best bits of Edinburgh? We’re looking for a kid who knows where to find the best ice cream, secret shortcuts, and the perfect places to make a little mischief. If that sounds like you, you might just be our first-ever Director of Mischief at Virgin Hotels Edinburgh!
This isn’t just any title - it’s a VIP kid’s role made just for you. As our Director of Mischief, you’ll be our official Fun Ambassador, helping other families visiting to discover the magic of Edinburgh your way, with plenty of laughter and adventure along the way. And, it’s all made even more magical in partnership with our friends at Museum Context.
What Do You Get If You Win?

- Totally free entry to 5 of the coolest kid-friendly places in Edinburgh – zoo trips, castle quests, time-travelling museums, and more. Bring your curiosity (and probably a snack).
- Backstage access to Virgin Hotels Edinburgh – including meeting the team, including our Director of Waggy Welcomes, our lovable hotel dog, Bonnar. Be the star of videos, guides and fun content for other visiting families.

How To Enter:
Parents, this bit's for you
It’s easy! Just film a short video (3 minutes maximum) of your child (8-14 years) sharing their favourite places in and around Edinburgh - parks, castles, snack spots, you name it!
Encourage them to get creative – costumes, props, silly facts… anything goes!
